Section Supervisor-Track
No two days are the same as a track inspector but in the morning I will have a discussion with the team to discuss what will be involved that day.
I will have discussions with the signaller to block the track allowing us to walk the section checking components this can include inspection of switches and crossing and joints in the track.
Some days could see us attending to emergency call outs from broken components to cows on the line which can be really interesting and rewarding.
