Lots of food!
The training is Monday - Friday and it is classroom based as well as workshop learning. I learned the basics of electricals and then you go to learn specifics for your role at regional training centres.

I believe the days are 8:00-16:00, unless it's changed since I was at Westwood.

Your in a room full of people you are in exactly the same boat as you, if it comes to learning something in the classroom or you're struggling with the practical element, don't be afraid to ask for help or just say you're struggling. The tutors are there to help, not laugh. As long as you respect them, they'll respect you.
