Scott D.
Operational Incident Controller
Varied work day, dealing with all sorts of operating incidents, often while fitting engineering work round a busy train service. Signallers basic daily task is overseeing movements to ensure a reliable train service ensuring the safety of the line. Communications with train drivers regularly is also required. It’s a serious job where mistakes are generally unrecoverable.
Hope that helps.
