Apprentice rail maintenance technician
When I joined we had several months of online lectures and coursework covering various topics from mechanical engineering to business and leadership strategies. As well as this we travelled to Westwood training centre for 2 week slots in which we covered topics such as technical drawing and using hand tools. Following this towards the end of the first year we began our track specific training with taking our PTS and track induction course.
