Hi,
In most cases you should contact the MOM in the area you would like to work in directly. Then you can jointly speak to his line manager LOM who will give it the ok.
I know you could speak to the LOM of the area to arrange but I always think it’s better to speak to the team doing the job you are inspiring to obtain.
