Scott D.
Operational Incident Controller
My three top qualities for my role. I would say that would vary from individual to individual but I will give mine.
1. Being confident. In a role where people rely on your guidance and direction, there is no place for hesitation in your own decision making.
2. Composure. Allot of the time you work alone and in difficult surroundings. So keeping your head is very important. You don’t want to be your own hazard.
3. Humble. Being in a role where you posses a certain basic set of skills you need to know when to step aside for the highly trained maintenance staff. Give them the respect they deserve.
So that would be my three.
Hope it helps.
