Level Crossing Manager
You can progress into any field you desire. I started out on the track maintenance p-way team and have now qualified and moved across to operations as a Level Crossing Manager- so a completely different route. They will fund NVQ's and higher education if that's something you fancy doing.

S&T Level 3 apprentice
There are loads of progression opportunities out there, you can move up the ranks within the team, go into management, if you get really good results within the apprenticeship, you can even get sponsored by the company to go to Uni

Track Maintenance Apprentice
Hi David, it really is up to you. Typically after the apprenticeship you’ll have your technician role this can move up into team leader, supervisor etc. Whether you want to be fully hands on or do another qualification after this is something you can discuss with you manager and they can point you in the right direction
