How is the apprenticeship structured over the 3 years?

Hi, for the first 6 months you are at the training centre in Coventry, after that you are at depot for the rest of the 3 years with the occasional week(s) away for training and gaining new competencies

Apprentice rail maintenance technician

The first year is largely coursework based as well as getting the basic requirements necessary to do your job (PTS etc) the second year is largely within depots as well as training (for instance I'm in my second year now and I've just returned from a three week small plant training course.) The third year is similar to the second.
