Network Rail offers many options to allow for a great work-life balance. I have personally found it easy to mix my driven nature with the flexibility available.

It's always busy but I love Network Rail's approach to flexible and agile working. As a parent I found it so useful to move to a 4 day working week for a year and my manager was really supportive in this. Even before COVID I always found Network Rail to be very agile and I could work from home or different locations as needed. Not every role can offer that because of the nature of certain jobs but I do think Network Rail does genuinely offer the opportunity wherever it is possible.
