Hi Nathaniel,
All training is provided. Depending on what discipline you become depends on what training would be required.
With regard to personal development network rail are very good when it comes to developing their people. For example, I have just attended a personal development day ran by the company we spoke about what I wanted to do in the future, and they have put plans in place to accommodate this. There are also a number of apprenticeships and courses you can do while you work. Hope this helps.

If you are part of Network rail already speak to your manager and HR Department they will advise you further. If not this is something you can look into if you join the company

I have done an NVQ lvl 2 in engineering so i have a good basic understanding of S&C. Im currently sponsored with Cleshar but they do not cover S&C training.
