Hi, At the moment the Railway industry is operated by Network Rail who look after the infrastructure. Network Rail use internal teams to carry out maintenance and contractors for renewals and larger programmes of work. There are some equipment trains that require drivers, so might be worth investigating some of the contractors. Otherwise you need to search within the Train Operating Companies such as GWR, Cross Country, MTR, and more quite a few to choose from, or the Freight Operating Companies such as DB Cargo, and more.
