There are a few different ways to obtain a PTS (sentinel) card. I would recommend applying for roles within network rail this way you would be put through PTS training needed.
If this isn’t an option for you then a self funded course course could be a option. Once you obtain you’re PTS you must obtain a sponsor to be Able to work on or near the infrastructure. Hope this helps you and if you need to know anything else please don’t hesitate to ask.
